What you can expect as a new Patient?

As a new patient at our office, you can expect a warm and welcoming experience from the moment you walk through our doors. After completing the necessary paperwork, you'll be escorted to an exam room where our doctors will personally greet you. During your initial consultation, our doctors will conduct a thorough neuromuscular examination to assess your specific needs. This may involve x-rays, orthopedic tests, and muscle testing. You'll receive your first treatment on the same day, and our doctors will review the findings with you to develop a personalized treatment plan. We understand that some conditions may be chronic, and we'll work with you to manage your symptoms and prevent future problems.

FAQ

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS). For other insurance policies, we offer cash price discounts. We can also bill out-of-network insurance, but please check with your provider to determine coverage.

What if I have a condition that you can't treat?

Brown chiropractic believes the approach to all care when appropriate should be chiropractic/holistic first medicine second surgery last. That said we feel it is our oath and obligation that when a patient presents with a condition that requires medical/surgical intervention as part of being a provider, it is part of our job as a physician to expedite getting them to their proper physician.

Am I obligated to do any contractual treatment plans?

No, We believe our goal should be to get the patient healed as fast as possible. This is often achieved with less expense to the patient.

Are chiropractic adjustments safe?

Chiropractic care is considered very safe when performed by a qualified chiropractor. In fact, chiropractic care has one of the lowest malpractice insurance rates among healthcare professions. This is due to the inherent safety of chiropractic techniques and the rigorous training that chiropractors undergo.

How do I know if I have a subluxation/misalignment in my spine?

While some subluxations may cause immediate pain or discomfort, others can be silent and go unnoticed. If you've ever been told you have arthritis or degenerative disc disease, a chronic subluxation is likely present. Sometimes, a subluxation may not cause symptoms until it's triggered by stress or injury.Regular chiropractic checkups can help identify and address subluxations before they lead to pain or other health problems.

Do you treat children?

Our office has been blessed with treating everything from newborns with colic to assisting seniors with improving their quality of life. So yes! We do!

Can chiropractic still help you even after you have had surgery?

Yes, chiropractic care can be beneficial after surgery to help with pain management, improve mobility, and speed up the healing process. However, it's important to consult with your surgeon before starting any new treatment.

How soon before I feel better?

The time it takes to feel better varies depending on the severity of your condition and the individual's response to treatment. Some people may experience relief after just a few sessions, while others may require more extensive care. Your chiropractor can provide a more accurate estimate based on your specific needs.
